An original copy of Larry Jensen's out-of-print 1981 book, The Movie Railroads, can be ordered from Cochetopa Press. This 8.5 x 11 inch, 257-page hardcover is in good condition for its age. It has its original dust jacket, which is also in good condition for its age, but does show a bit of wear. The book includes more than 300 black & white photos and covers several railroads, locomotives, and museum trains used in motion pictures and television shows, including the Sierra Railroad, Rio Grande Narrow Gauge, B&O Railroad Museum, Magma Arizona Railroad, Nacionales de Mexico No. 650, Great Western Railroad No. 75, Virginia & Truckee, Eureka & Palisade Railway No. 4 (Hobart Southern No. 5), Nevada County Narrow Gauge No. 5, and Dardanelle & Russellville Railroad No. 8. These trains appeared in hundreds of films from the mid-1930s to the time the book was published. Maps, lists of films, and detailed rosters of equipment are included. This book can be personally inscribed by Larry Jensen. Shipping is included in the price.
